TANU Rising Taller in Port Credit as Exterior Details Appear

Rising in Mississauga near the Port Credit waterfront, a new 15-storey condominium development dubbed TANU is soon to bring new residential density to one of Mississauga’s most vibrant, pedestrian-friendly communities. The project from Edenshaw Developments Limited is now steadily climbing into the sky on Park Street just east of the Credit River, and a short walk from both Port Credit GO station and the shops and restaurants of Lakeshore Road.

 

The first steps in the project came in 2018, when a group of former walkup apartment buildings were cleared to make way for the construction of the new IBI Group-designed building. Shoring and excavation followed, with a tower crane installed in late 2019 as the dig wrapped up. After several months of underground forming, the project rose above grade in mid-2020. We last checked in on construction in November, 2020, when forming had reached the building’s seventh floor.
