Geothermal to Bring Efficiency and Savings to Edenshaw’s ‘Alba’

Mississauga’s City Centre is rapidly evolving with a wave of urban intensification that will bring thousands of new residents and a new LRT line that will connect the emerging pockets of density along Hurontario Street. Just to the south of Mississauga’s heart at Hurontario Strret and Fairview Road East, Edenshaw Developments is launching a new 32-storey curving condo development dubbed Alba that will extend a growing corridor of density, while offsetting its carbon footprint with the use of a geothermal system.

Early details about the Core Architects-designed building are trickling out, including information about the geothermal system that is planned to help to heat and cool the building, lessening the property’s environmental impact and resulting in greater cost-savings for residents.
