As selected participants for the City of Mississauga’s Housing Task Force, we are collaborating with municipal leaders and industry peers to address these challenges and help create a favourable environment for buyers. Together, we’re focused on streamlining the housing approval processes, discuss obstacles and constraints, find solutions to the housing supply and affordability and identify areas for partnership.

By having a seat at the table, Edenshaw is contributing to important discussions that address factors driving up housing costs, while ensuring that the builder community’s voice is heard. As a seasoned developer from Mississauga, Edenshaw has been selected for its expertise.

The government is beginning to respond to the ongoing housing crisis, with recent initiatives aimed at making housing more affordable. Changes to amortization periods and reduced down payment requirements, as well as mortgage rates trending downwards, are presenting significant benefits for those considering pre-construction options. As the market improves, getting in now can position buyers advantageously for future growth.

Craftsmanship is a fundamental aspect of Edenshaw Developments development process, deeply rooted in our passion for art and design. Interestingly, the name Edenshaw was inspired by the meticulously executed designs and fine craftsmanship of Haida Chief and master-woodcarver, Charles Edenshaw. His great great grandson Chief James Hart, also an accomplished artist, endorsed our use of the name, and I promised to live up to the standard of craftsmanship in all of our developments.

The craftsmanship is a red line throughout, incorporating quality features and finishes in every resident’s home. That attention to detail is equally important in the common areas.  Each piece of furniture is hand-picked and the artwork are selected gallery pieces.
